Coronallacs

Do you want to take on the challenge of finishing one of the most difficult hikes in the Pyrenees?

WHAT IS THE CORONALLACS TRAIL?

A route taking in Andorra’s four staffed shelters
Enjoy a walk through the high mountains of Andorra

Coronallacs is a circular hiking trail that links the four staffed shelters currently operating in Andorra. The route covers a total of 92 kilometres of mountain scenery with spectacular views and is divided into five long stages. Each stage covers between 13 and 22 kilometres, with an average of 18.4 km per day, which is manageable for seasoned hikers.

The trail is designed so that you spend a night in each of the mountain shelters, meaning that you don’t have to carry much weight. The difficulty of the route varies between medium and medium-high, depending on the section.

The Coronallacs is made up of stages of varying difficulty and duration, which allow you to spend a night in each of Andorra’s high-mountain staffed shelters.

The starting point is Escaldes-Engordany, in the centre of the Principality, but before starting out, remember to pick up your pass (all those who have made the reservation through the web) from the tourist office in town, where they will give you a map.
